Each tradition has its masters across Indian country.  Recognized in their communities and by fellow practitioners, these masters not only have learned the techniques and craftsmanship required to excel but also have a deeper and richer understanding of the history, character and meanings associated with their tradtions.

Stories, crafts, arts and customs  generally are passed on orally or by example among the Anishinaabeg (Native American Indians), from one person to another within a tradition that deeply values careful observation and a respect for communally retained knowledge.

Objects made by human hands bring human design and personality outward!
